The Lenovo Thinkstation is a machine that is capable of handling realistic, high-resolution 3D animation, rendering, and post editing. With these capabilities in mind, we created this key visual – a geographically surreal landscape filled with gravity-defying whales, a composition that challenges the wonders of reality. 

 

The idea:

让现实突破想象 (Reality beyond imagination)

We felt we wanted to do something more, something beyond. Something that could bring the audience an unexpected twist to our world of reality. We proposed, the raining whale. A projection device beside a bus-stop shelter that is triggered by rain. Strategically located at “Zhong Guan Chun Science Park”, China’s first national high-tech industrial development zone, also known as China’s Silicon Valley. The projection becomes visible under multiple falling droplets in the rain, accompanied by the songs of the whales, bringing the raining whale to life.
